Former member of St. Andrew's Church, Cleveland, OH. Preceded in death by husband, Andrew (Andy); sister Agnes Richard; and daughter, Marybeth Petercsak. Survived by daughter, Kathleen (James) Mitsuyasu; son Daniel (Patricia) Baker; son-in-law Stephen Petercsak (Jane Holford); grandchildren Shannon, Courtney, James, Michael, Jeffrey and Emily; great-grandchildren Tia, Jace and Amelia; brother Francis Polomsky (Jacqueline, deceased); brother-in-law James Richard; four nieces and two nephews. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Abbey, 10510 Buckeye Rd., Cleveland, OH. Dobkowski, Charlotte A., age 90, of Beavercreek, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Charlotte was born on July 22, 1924 in Cleveland, OH to the late Adam and Stephanie Wojtowicz. She graduated in 1942 from Jane Addams High School in Cleveland, OH. Charlotte was a first generation Polish-American. She loved spending time with her family and was known for her wonderful work as a seamstress. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Dobkowski; her parents; brothers, Sigmund and Henry Wojtowicz and sister, Bernice Rudnicki. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Dick) Ferguson of Beavercreek; sons, Mark (Amy) Ferguson of Oakwood, David (Katie) Ferguson of Los Angeles and A.J. Ferguson of Dayton; great-grandchildren, Emma and William; brother, Edward (Joan) Wojtowicz; brother-in-law, Peter (Betty) Dobkowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the staff at Trinity Community of Beavercreek and to Sharon Porter of Comfort Keepers for all the wonderful care they gave Charlotte. Robert J. Knezevic. Mr. Knezevic passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. He was born September 19, 1919 in Cleveland and has been a resident of Mentor for over 20 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WWII, and after worked at National Acme for 40 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of SNPJ, CFU, CCU and St. Mary of the Assumption in Mentor. He is survived by his wife Rose (nee Yuretic); he sons: Robert (Mary Anne) and Terrance; grandchildren: R.J. (Heather), Danny (Candice) and Christopher; brother: Peter (Terry); sister-in-law: Barbara; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Sam and Mary Kausek (Harold). Riley Lynne Pearson, age 17, passed away on October 5, 2014 after a four year battle with osteosarcoma cancer. She is survived by her parents: Hugh O, III and Lynne (nee Strmac) Pearson; her sister: Holly; the love of her life: Jordan Timura; grandparents: John and Ann Strmac; aunts and uncles: Dan and Laura Hannan, Ron and Lisa Margolis, John Strmac, Fraser and Martine Pearson, Christopher and Katie Pearson; cousins: Dyann Paskan (Jayson), Jacey and Ryan Hannan, Jacob Margolis, Fraser and Mabrey Pearson. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dr. Hugh O. Pearson, Jr. and Nancy Pearson. She also leaves a host of friends and neighbors who loved and cared for Riley. She loved and cared for them just as much. Riley lived her life with boundless energy and a love for others. Her family will honor her youth, spunk and zest for life with a Memorial Remembrance on Sunday, Oct 12 from 1pm-7pm at The Croatian Lodge Party Center located at 34900 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake, 44095. A mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, on Monday, October 13th at 12 noon. Riley’s cousin, Rev. Tim Plavac will officiate the Mass. Mary Lou Haskins, 90, died on March 20, 2014. Mary Lou was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on June 27, 1923. She graduated from Wheeling High School, followed by college at St. Mary’s College in Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and completed education at the University of Pittsburgh when she received her Masters Degree. Mary Lou met her husband Tom when she accompanied him on piano as he participated in a music contest. They were married in 1947 and she and her family relocated to Barberton from Pittsburgh in 1966. They were longtime members of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Mary Lou began her lifelong career as a teacher at the School for the Blind in Pittsburgh and many years later retired from Holy Trinity Grade School in Barberton, OH. She loved music, dancing and her family. Her smile lit up the room and invited yours. Mary Lou’s Husband, Thomas Frederick, Sr. of 62 years predeceased her. I am sure they are dancing together once again. She is survived by children, Thomas Jr. (wife Elizabeth), and Kathleen Kirby (husband Kent); granddaughter Kimberly; grandsons Thomas Patrick Haskins (wife Ashley), Ryan Kirby, Eric Kirby, and Christopher Haskins; step-grandsons James Grondin (wife Marisa), Al (Buddy) Schoenthal and Christopher Schoenthal; great grandchildren Liam Robert Haskins and Declan Thomas Haskins; step-great grandchildren Gwendolyn Schoenthal, Marguerite Grondin, Gabriella Grondin and Matthew Schoenthal.
